2023/24 Squad numbers
Couple of changes... Interesting to see Scamacca change with all the paper talk of him poss moving.

Lucas Paquetá, Alphonse Areola, Gianluca Scamacca and Maxwel Cornet will each sport a new squad number for the 2023/24 season.

Brazilian playmaker Paquetá will wear the No10 shirt at West Ham United, switching from No11.

The midfielder's former number will be taken on by Italian forward Scamacca, who has changed to the No11 from No7.

Versatile winger Cornet has also opted to swap his shirt number for the new season and will now wear the No17, having donned the No14 in his maiden campaign in Claret and Blue.

Finally, goalkeeper Alphonse Areola will take the No23 shirt for the 2023/24 season, changing from No13.

Agree RE Scamacca. Don't think they'd bother if he was off, so for me that's really encouraging news.

Wonder if Paqueta will stump up for changing numbers on presumably quite a few shirts which will now be wrong!

Would be strange if Paqueta & Scamacca were leaving for them to bother with changing shirt numbers
Presume Areola is either sponsored by Nike or a Michael Jordan fan if he is going to 23 .... or has just realised 13 is supposedly unlucky
